Stuck on Authenticating??

I have a mate with the same issue right now. Thanks for the reports, I'll let someone know.

Everybody who sees this Problem upvote it. So Riot sees this problem and can figure out a way to fix it

Client message states RIOT are aware issues causing players to DC from their games.

Imagine being able to get into a game lads, that would be the life.

I went to Windows Firewall with Advanced Security

Go to Inbound Rules

Top Right of the categories there's a "New Rule"

Select Program

Click Browse at "Create Program Path" - Lead this to the LeagueClient application (The one that's about 4,100Kb)

Then just keep clicking next until it's set.

Restart the client.

Same problem, stuck on authenticating, i was literally just playing 1 hour ago now its doing this?

yea just happend to me after my game ended said i had a connection issue then i tried restarting client multiple times still stuck on authenticating.

I am having the same issue, stuck on Authenticating on the new client and stuck on Logging on in the Legacy Client.

I just want to play league, riot pls fix!!!

I would like to post this comment also, I'm sitting with 2 other mates we are running 3 different laptops, 2 of us are using there adsl dodo, and the other is using there mobile device that's optus. We loged off less then 12 hours ago with no issues in game, Im running the old client and my mates the new clients. They are stuck on authentication, one managed to log in once but couldn't see any thing or press play, I managed to log in 2 times with the chat not loading right and really slow, managed to send him an inv but he didn't not get the game inv or see it pop up at all.

With all that said, its not pc based, nor internet provider or firewall related, its a server issue that is affecting both new and old clients. (seeing as I run my pc with out and anti virus or firewall active).

Yep same for me except i was logged in and it wouldnt let me accept match and chat was disconnected so restarted and now its stuck on authenticating edit: working now

Having the exact same issue. After winning a game a message popped up before statistics saying "There was an issue with your connection". It forced closed the game, now stuck on authenticating. Riot pls.

I waited a 20 min ban, just to be kicked out of league, VERY angry. Also I would recommend posting this on the oce :)

Just adding my 2 cents, and verifying what everyone here has mentioned already.

Unable to play LoL, due to authentication time outs.

Originally i was able to login, but was unable to connect to the chat service.

(Scoured this thread, but can't see where RIOT has acknowledged there is client login issues)

Just did a full repair, does not fix the issue FYI.

I have had this problem before and Am having it again...After a lot of searching I am Pretty sure it has to do with network and some misused league file...It's not something Riot can really Fix, Although I would love if they could figure out the issue and show us what to do to fix it because from what I've seen nobody knows how to fix it...As far as I can tell Just Give it time and it should go back to normal...If you want to try System restoring your computer back to when it did work and that might fix it...BTW you can try re-installing it but it doesn't work for most people.
