League Client Crashing in Ranked Champion Select

When picking champions in champ select. I decided to switch to Vieger last second and lock in with about 3 seconds left to spare. After locking in, the client freezes and doesn't allow me to do anything. Pressing the client tells me it is unresponsive and to close it. My friend who I was queue'd with told me that it sent a message saying "Steven1 has left the room." Even though I didn't close my client yet and was waiting for it to become responsive. Auto forcing me to dodge my series. This happened to my friend 3 games earlier after locking in a champion.
