Relic Shield Visual -- Remains After Selling

So I bought Relic Shield and then sold it at the end of the game. The visual still stay. I don't think the passive is in effect though. I tried another Champ in Training Mode and same thing. I'm not sure if this is new. I don't know if i ever sold a Relic Shield before? This was just a BOT game.
