AFKS --- Beware This Player

Jinxalot·11/29/2018, 11:41:47 AM·10 votes·4,270 views

I removed the last part of the player name. But if you see this "AFKS---------" summoner name player in your champ select, then dodge. What happens is that this person will connect for a few secs, just long enough so we can't Remake, then DSC. I'm pretty sure it's intentional by the name and the remaining part which references not dying if you are AFK. So I lost my game here. I did Report and also submitted a ticket with all the info not blacked out. https://i.imgur.com/w0B7IuS.jpg https://i.imgur.com/PQun81G.jpg

Why a downvote? I blocked the full name.

You're getting downvoted because you are doing something other than flaming the "toxic" players.

Let's downvote this guy even more, he didn't complain about flaming, but a real issue.

For OP: Next time you post something like this, say that they said "%%%%%" or "kys", then your upvotes will skyrocket! If you say that you have mental problems, and seeing these words really hurt your soul some people will even spam comments encouraging how great you are ;)

Dude also went 22/7/10 on Lucian before that 2 days of AFK.

My best guess, it's either a boosted account or a win trader, but you are both bronze so that can't be right...

The dude doesn't have a history of afking based on the previous games, it's prob a smurf account (based on the kda of previous games) that wants to stay in Bronze so he can stomp noobs. Also could have been hacked. I don't know. Everyone on the planet has some form of mental health issue so maybe they are just affected by that and choose to act on it in a game because that's where they think they can get the biggest audience.

Things like this make me curious and I'd be interested to see how it resolves itself.

I don't think it should be downvoted because you are legit warning people based on a trend of negative gameplay experience brought on by another player on a consistent (for 2 days) basis. I wouldn't want that dude or anyone like that in my game currently.

However this post does come dangerously close to the board rules about not throwing people under the bus or calling them out in a public display as to prevent witch hunting, and just the fact that we see your name gives us the power to search you and your history so even if you hadn't given a name, your name and the information that a person went afk in your game, will lead us to this dudes account.

Most of the time, I'd remove these images for naming and shaming. In the future, please black out the entire name, or if you can, change these images to black out the entire name.

Why block his name when I can just go into your match history and find his username anyway?

Not really any point in making a thread about these types of accounts, its either a bot that riot will eventually get around to dealing with, or a hacked account someone is trying to get banned, which also will eventually be dealt with by riot. In my 4 years of playing i've never actually come across an account like this, so it's probably a bot, which riot recently posted statistics on that they have had a drastically reduced presence in the game the more riot creates bot/script anti cheat systems. Now as to why someone would do this? I have no idea, i'm not entirely sure how running a bot to troll games would ever benefit anyone, unless it's just someone that purposely wants to ruin others experience because they got perm'd or something.
