Strange interaction between Graves autoattack and Quickdraw

I'm having difficulty replicating it with any reliability, but in the past two patches I've noticed that sometimes Graves' reset auto attack after Quickdraw will happen immediately, with an abbreviated animation. It will look like two sets of numbers right after each other
