Uhhh... Riot? [Client]

Right now I'm unable to queue for a game because "I abandoned a recent game during champ selection". What really happened is that a message popped up in the middle of champ select, saying that a player from my last game was inviting me to another. The moment i clicked "decline" the chat was filled with "[summoner] left the chat room". Eventually the timer ran out and i was returned to the home page without any message telling me what happened. Does this mean that interacting in any way with invitations during champ select will get you kicked from champ select?
