Patch? Preseason?

I'm so confused right now. I was under the impression when they announced that the servers were going down for 3 hours this morning that the preseason patch would be in. Not only did i wake up to no patch. The message of an 0300 down time is still displayed. Does anyone know what is going on? Didn't preseason "start" today.
