Sometimes when I'm in a teamfight the sound gets all choppy and I drop to like 5 FPS
I play on a 2013 13' Macbook Pro Retina. I usually sit at constant 60FPS with absolutely no issues, this bug began about 2 weeks ago.
The game is completely unplayable, Rito pls.
Same here as well, im playing on a mac and I have lost so many game deciding teamfights beacause of my shit frame rate. please push out a hotfix or something this bug has been going on for too long
There has been a bug on the mac client (And some PCs) since the 6.6 update that has been causing severe framerate drops do to some sort of unspecified sound error. While there isn't an exact fix nor an estimated time as to when it will be fixed, we do have a work around right now. It's not ideal, but if you go into your sound settings and check the box that says Disable All Sound at the bottom, things should be more smooth during the game. Like I said, it's not ideal, but it's the best thing we can do right now. Here's another post for reference. Good luck out there!
I have experienced occasional lag spikes related to tons of sounds happening at once, but primarily it's just been a sound bug for me. The worst I had was in an aram. The sound was filled with static all game.
