[GAMEPLAY] - Noc's W not blocking Nasus Q or E

I had the "privilege" of fighting a Nasus top as Nocturne earlier. Now, according to Noc's tooltip his W blocks the next enemy ability within 1.5 seconds, and if one is blocked grants him double his attack speed bonus for five seconds. When Nasus went to Q me, and you can see the staff light up somewhat when he activates it, I hit W.. Nasus hit me, and I took the damage anyway. When he used his E, the second he casted it on me I hit W and it still counted as the initial on-hit damage and did not block anything. I could understand if I'm sliding over it, but the second he casted I had W up and it acted as if it was full initial damage, no block.

If nothing else could we at least get some clarification on how many abilities are just treated as basic attacks even though they have considerably more damage and such? And the situation with the E initial damage should have been blocked regardless so, hopefully you can fix this up.
