[CLIENT] Custom Item Sets are now missing

I have recently update the game client to 5.5 today. I cannot see any of my custom item sets under the "Item Sets" tab in my summoner profile. I joined a game, and in the game my custom item sets were also missing. I logged off and logged back on a couple times, and each time my custom item sets are still missing. Can these be restored without having to recreate each custom item set? Are the custom item sets stored locally or online (like rune pages and masteries)? If they are stored locally, is there a way to back up those item sets before starting a new update?
