Play button not working. Won't allow me to queue for a game.

I just logged into my account. I got a notification that one of my friends got me a mystery skin. Wanted to queue and try it out but the play button wouldn't work. I stayed on the same screen I was on. Waiting did not work. All the other buttons worked (settings, summoner info, settings) just not the bright orange play button. Logged out of the client and logged back in and the problem was solved.

tl;dr: Skin gifting may affect the ability to queue for games. Orange play button doesn't work.
