Game freezes every now and then after 9.8 patch

So just as the title says. After the latest patch release, 9.8, my game freezes every now and then for around 5 to 6 seconds and it costed me so many times its absurd. My PC is a really low spec machine but it had no issues running the game till now whatsoever. Many players that I have played in a game with addressed the same issue with their FPS dropping from 60 to 5 in a split second. In my case it freezes completely (no sound or anything) for around 6 seconds after what it shows for a 0.5 seconds "attempting to reconnect" and a fast 130ms to standard 55ms.
