Trundle Subjugate

As shown in the clip, trundle ulted me, and despite he was instantly killed, his ult continued to drain my health despite him no longer being alive. How? How did an HP Armor Mr draining ult continue if the source as well as the destination of said ult is no longer able to benefit from it? Riot please explain why
