Its been 15 minutes since the champion select ended, I'm still trying to reconnect and every time it pops up that window, the server is active, my firewall is not blocking the game or anything, the game is still going, I'm going to get a leave buster penalty for never connecting to the game, and is not my fault ;(

I've also tried restarting the computer 2 times, and when I reconnect to the server, it still asks me to reconnect to the match.


Edit: I could reconnect at minute 19 and lost, and got the leave buster warning.

Edit 2: There's lot of people doing rants about Riot ignoring this issue. Instead of doing that you can:

  • upvote this threat so we can know how many people had this problem (only people that has gone through this).

let's assume that 35 are the players that have gone through this issue. 35 players against MILLIONS daily players on NA server is not an "existent" or "critical" problem to resolve for Riot.

  • Only post solutions AND upvote them

The boards prioritizes the newest and "best" comments. People with this problem will never get nothing by just ranting about Riot doing anything. If the rants keeps going, the first things people will see, are going to be complaints instead of solutions.

Had this yesterday. Somehow got into the game 15 minutes later only to find that my team was winning in a 4v4, and neither team's kalista connected to the match. For some reason didn't get a leave buster popup afterward, which I'm very thankful for, because I did get one earlier when my internet cut out for about 5 minutes during a game that I had absolutely no control over either.

I've noticed that the number of leavers (as in, from the start of the match) has increased dramatically in this patch, and I think this glitch is probably the cause.

Holy FUCKING shit. I'm so so glad I'm not the only one.

I actually spectated my one game JUST FINE. It was still saying that there was some "imaginary firewall". I'm wired No firewall DMZ Everything else is fine so there is nothing on my end. I'm gritting my teeth starting at this fucking box where I have to type "I agree". I played a game before this one and was just fine. Why is this happening all of sudden and why am I the target of blame. Between me and everyone else this clearly isn't a problem of the end users.

Sure, great, fine! Maybe it isn't my problem and maybe it isn't Riot's. I know Riot has to put up with ignorant users blaming them for their problems when really some storm is causing problems somewhere else on the grid. You never know. Point being... Riot has techs that arn't ignorant rageing noobs. I don't expect their programs to be sentient either... I guess a little less sas?

I feel like I was late getting somewhere because there was an accident in the parking lot and now I'm being treated like a snotty pre-teen because of circumstances beyond control and "I do so solemnly swear that I will do my best to make sure that if there is a game to be connected to that I was matchmade into that I will join it and play it through to the end because I am a good sportsmanlike player who loves the community and cares about it's improvement. I have also read and agree to the terms of service and in doing so sell my eternal soul to the powers that be."

exact same thing happened to me for the first time yesterday, and again just now. i tabbed out and turned my firewall OFF in hopes that i could load in after that, but no such luck. i already got a low priority queue after yesterday, and i fear what may happen after this instance. regardless, this is an unacceptable bug. very frustrating to get punished for a afk that is not your fault.

I don't understand why you have to agree in the first place if you rejoin the match. A rioter (I forget who) said it was because one leaver ruins the game for people. No matter who is at fault. It's all about the pro scene now. If you're not on a pro team, forget about getting help. Or we could petition a bunch of pros to bitch about the problems, but of course they play with like a max of 10 ping, so they aren't going to help change something that won't affect them.

Just had this exact thing happen to me. I did everything within my knowledge to try and fix it to no avail. I restarted my PC, hit both cancel and retry buttons that appear, checked to see if my windows firewall was blocking it even though I had just played a game a few minutes prior, I even shut off my firewall and internet security to see if it would help. I tried to get into the game for about 20 minutes straight before checking the forums to see if others have been having this exact problem and surprise surprise there are quite a few of us. the game lasted approximately 40 minutes and I could never join the game to even attempt to explain what was going on to my teammates. I like many others plagued by this glitch or virus through the League of Legends system currently strive myself to never leave games.

SO..... To punish us with the leaver buster and kill our gaming experience for something which isn't our fault isnt right. Rito Plz fix this matter.

i've been getting the problem on and off for the past week, i've tried messing around with my firewall it doesn't help, i've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling. This needs to get fixed asap, it's so annoying!

The worst part is im being punished by riot from their patch causing this, on top of the fact i lost 2 ranked games cause of it. When will Riot step in and help us? I have to wait 10 min before every game now cause Riot wont compensate for their problems patching.....

Let me tell you something, don't even try to solve it. Riot doesn't give a shit.

There was a similar problem where me and a lot of players have been experiencing since February of 2013. Everytime the game loads to 100% and you still have a perfect ping, game crashes and says "You have been Disconnected, check you Internet."

Many people posted on the Board about these problems but Riot never responds to any of them. They are blaming it on your computer or your network provider and shit like that.

This happened to me today... Immediately after the champion select in aram it didn't go to the load screen it just turned black in then popped up the exact same message he showed in the picture. retry had me waiting for the same message to appear. League is and always has been an exception for my firewall. so i closed the game, relogged.. tried again, same thing. restarted the computer, same thing, but i kept trying over and over. i didn't get in until about 15 minutes into the game and everyone else had no problems connecting.

I know it would be hard on all of us but I think we should all stop playing riot is so powerful and successful now they obviously don't give a sh.t about what's happening and customer service is no concern to them. Great Game shitty support Say goodbye LOL

I had this happen yesterday.... for a game that I queued up for and "started" maybe 5 minutes after I finished a game with zero problems so it wouldn't make sense that a firewall would sudden flair up then be fine for my game today.

The funny thing is the fact that it shows up as a leave in the client match history but the game isn't there at all on the website match history (I get a 404 error when I click the game from the client)

This happened to me and since i left yesterday i got the double penalty. I always have to wait in 2 queues too. I mean if its a 5 minute penalty, it makes me wait twice.

Started getting this a couple of days ago, and it was only after champion select that I would get the firewall error. Then today I have to reconnect so many times, and even if I do, I keep getting booted out with "Attempting to Reconnect" every damn time. Its just futile to keep trying to reconnect. Truly outrageous, fix your servers Riot please.

This happens to be every ranked game now for a week. So far 1 leave buster warning. It's really old. Started happening about 1 month ago with the introduction of a patch.

Have the same problem here as well. Sometimes the second time I connect which happened the first time the error appeared today. The second time I gave up after the fifth or six try. My firewall is not on and i keep getting game abandonement penalties so this bug is quite obnoxious please fix it riot if you can!

God Bless ya, man. Seems you got it worse than I do. If I get it, all I have to do is exit LoL and then log back in. Thankfully, that's only been in bot games, but still, hope this problem gets fixed soon so you don't have to suffer no more. :/

So this may apply to this bug, might not, but whenever my LoL crashes during or before loading screen here's what I do. Using Windows, press (Window Key)+X to open up a menu. From there open the task manager and find LoL Client. End program for that and restart the program. Hope it helps, sorry about the firewall bug :/

This has been happening to me all day. One draft normal this morning it happened. I've been able to load into customs but once i get in it says attempting to reconnect and shows i have 00fps and wont show my ping.

This happens to me every other game. For me, I usually just restart the client once or twice and its fine, but there was one time where I got stuck out of a game for half an hour and I came back just in time to see my nexus go boom.
