Major Glitch When Games Start

A couple months ago I started having this bug where every couple of games I would get in, buy my items, and be in lane, everything would be going fine, and I would try to use an ability, and it wouldn't work. I could still type in game, I could use basic attacks, but using the keyboard to use abilities didn't work. The only way I could fix this was by closing the game, restarting the client, and joining back in. It stopped for a while, now it's back and it has happened in 2 of the past 3 games that I've played and it's really frustrating. I can't seem to find any posts about this bug specifically, so I'm gonna reinstall league and update this after a few games.
