[Client] Reporting Screen not working. Is Riot protecting trolls until next season?

TL; DR; After the last patch the report screen almost always crashes when I want to report a troll player.

So, in this game our ADC, MF, started the match running to the enemies jungle, Blitz got her and the ADC got the first kill. As soon as she got back she didn't stood behind minions, getting herself in a bad position. Blitz pulled her, ADC got another kill. On the 3rd or 4th time, she chose an open space to call B. Blitz pull, ADK kill... She went AFK for a while and as soon she got back, she would run to enemy towers or Baron and intentionally get herself killed, so she was obviously trolling. By the end of the game she was 0/13/0. The enemy ADC got so fed that me, as a Maokai, couldn't do anything.

It was so clear that she was trolling that even the enemy team was commenting about reporting her.

Well, we lose, of course. On the post-game screen, as soon as I clicked on the red exclamation mark, the client went opaque and non-responsive. I couldn't report her.

That was one of at least 3 cases - after the last patch - that I wanted to report a really troll player but a couldn't. It is like the client knows that a player is a troll and tries to protect them.

Actually, why do we have to report people like this? Why can't the game detect trolls and get rid of them automatically?
