During a game the enemy Ahri was able to kill me twice when I Alpha Strike her. I am not on the map nor visible but I still died to her after I Q and before she throws the sphere. I thought Yi was able to dodge skills like that like Fizz or Vlad and only channels or DOT could kill him. Is this working as intended or Fizz and Vlad the only people who are able to dodge skill shots
It's working as intended.
The thing to remember is that, despite what people think, things are not implemented all playing with the same rules even if they are similar or share a few words in the tooltip; this isn't Magic: The Gathering.
Alpha Strike is an Untargetable Dash, it does make him untargetable but that does not mean he can't take damage, just that he can't be targeted. Fizz's E is in a different category.
Also:
Wasn't the Ignite that killed me. I had 300 health and died before My Q finished.
FYI: Ignite can do more than 300 damage.

Yi becomes untargetable, not invulnerable when he uses his Q. Anything that is already applied will continue to do damage.
