Fiora's Ultimate Disappearing on Gnar as He Morphs?

I just played a game where I ulted with Fiora on Gnar. And then, about maybe a second after, Gnar transforms into his big form and my ult disappears. It this supposed to happen?

Side note, I could swear that the Vitals are bugged with Fiora and Gnar. The points kept appearing "jagged" and would not trigger properly when I know I hit them.
