Azir turret damage against Master Yi seems bugged

I'm not sure if this is intended or if it is just poor math on my part but the damage that Azir's turret does against master Yi seems bugged. I'm talking specifically about when Yi meditates under Azir's turret. obviously against a normal turret Yi's damage reduction is reduced to prevent him from tanking the turret forever, however I do not think the same can be said about Azir's turret as it seems to do negligible damage to him and Yi seems to ignore the FULL amount of damage that he would ignore against other champion abilities. Steps to replicate: 1) have Azir spawn a turret 2) have the turret target Master Yi 3) have master Yi meditate while he is being shot. this so far has a 100% occurrence rate.
