I've been noticing this alot lately, its almost like they secretly changed it to the most damage given gets the kill credit.

The kill is for darius because of the bleeding, Yi didn't kill Shyvana whis his last attack, but lower enough her health to allow the next tic of the bleeding to finish the job. that occured almost in same time.

It's not a bug. Yi got the range to autoattack and because of the attack animation time, this look a bit weird. If it wasn't like that, it would be impossible to autoattack a champion as a melee champion.
