Cannot reconnect to game

So I just loaded into a match and my client was being very slow and freezing, which never happens because I have a great internet connection and a sturdy system build. I got to the game landing screen and closed out of client to relog while waiting to load into game. The client opened up saying it repaired my client to a previous version, now I am stuck with the year of the pig loading screen and when I log in there is a button that says "reconnect" pressing this brings up text behind it "Game still in progress" and when the click ends the button re-appears. No matter how many times I click the button or restart client this keeps happening. Now I'm going to be reported for afking when the client will not let me play.
