Mystery Gifting Won't allow gifting to friend who meets all qualifications

This has happened twice to me now.

  1. Scenario 1: Friend tried to gift me but was denied. Given basic reasons: either I was not level 1, did not own enough champs, or had received maximum gifts for the day.

I am level 30, Own all but 63 champs, and had not received a single gift in actually a couple of days.

We tried both of us logging out and back in, but it still denied him. He was able to gift me Ekko the very next day but it wasn't the mystery gift and I do not know if it was related to this bug.

  1. Scenario 2: A few days later I tried to gift a second friend a 975 or higher mystery skin. It denied him for the same generic reasons, even though he is level 30 (high gold rank), owns all but 20-something champs in the game, and hadn't received a mystery gift in at least a week. I went back into the store and tried the LOWER PRICE mystery skin, and it accepted and sent.

when you are gifting in both scenarios are they strictly just Mystery Skin? from the way it sounds like either something is wrong on Riot side (although ill admit i never encountered this type of error before) or he owns most of the skins for the champions he owns. I think the required amount is 10. As long as they are able to get 10 skins they should be able to get a mystery gift. this obviously doesnt include Limited Edition skins, but that seems to be the case.

Also if im not mistaken doesnt the 490 Mystery Gifting have it to where the skin has to be over 520? it was either that or the 750 tier but i cant remember at the moment, so with that 10 Skins required to be able to gift, you have to take out all the cheap skins, which would explain how you were able to gift a cheap skin rather than Mystery gifting them!

Hmm it does seem like a bug. im sure if you contacted Support they would help in some way. im sure as long as you can detail as much as you can because if this is a problem im sure it will happen to a lot more people. and i would rather them try and fix it now before it gets out of hand!
