[CLIENT] Game says I have no internet or that firewall is blocking access

Ever since I got a new router and a new internet connection at home my game has been acting really weird and after days of searching for a solution online, I have found nothing. What is happening is, the new league client has the login button greyed out saying it can't find the files to patch the game, and if I try to launch the legacy client it shows me the RADS error window, saying I should check my internet connection and firewall. So, I tried launching league with my firewall off, it still shows the same error message, I reinstalled league and nothing changed, I tried launching with my antivirus uninstalled, still no change. Furthermore, the weirder part comes when I tried opening the riot support page, my browser immediately showed me an error message saying it can't access that page and that I need to configure my dns. Same thing when I tried to log in to post on the forums, for three days I just could not access the login page on the league website, my browser would just display a broken page. I tried this on Chrome, Firefox and IE, I tried it from my phone but it just wouldn't display the login or support pages anywhere. For me to be able to finally log in and write this, I had to install an extension on my Chrome to hide my IP address, and to appear as if I'm in another country to even be able to access the Riot support website, or to log in and make this post. I tried everything I could find on the support website about troubleshooting my connection and firewall but nothing works, and I absolutely have no idea what to do anymore or what is even causing this problem, both of the clients are just insisting my firewall is blocking access. Please give me any kind of information fast, this is my favorite game and I feel so helpless.
