Rammus, Azir Ult interactions [Gameplay Bug]

So playing ranks feeling good about them 5-0 so far in prelim's decide to play azir mid, things are going well I hit 2-0 and then it all just went to hell. And the culprit people who don't listen to pings haha, all joking aside though whenever i would use my ult on rammus to keep him off me it doesn't work, when you hit him with the ult if he taunts or hits you with his q at the same time your wall will push THROUGH him while only knocking him up instead of removing him from your personal space, he literally bounces up and stays stuck to you, I strongly believe this is an ingame bug and that it just costed me a game, the rammus even agreed something was wrong with the interaction.
