It says clearly in his reveal page that when someone is within his stars he is useless except for 2 options, the first being; double tap Q for an instant stun, but this is not the case in game, Starsurge has a delay before i can be re-actived, it usually has to travel at least to his inner limit before you can re-active it, which means you cant double tap it, and it is pretty much useless as a defensive technique. so either:

Starsurge is not performing as intend.

The champion reveal page is wrong.

So with respect to your 'clarity' Riot, could you please not leave us in the dark as to which thing is wrong? Is Starsurge bugged, or is the champion reveal page misleading?

thanks

A rioter commented that the delay is working as intended.

As sucky as it feels, Sol is actually a pretty good champ (albeit hard to get use to) and removing the delay would probably mean him getting nerfed again.

Nice catch, I totally forgot that that page mentioned double-tapping Q.

The delay isn't mentioned or shown anywhere, right? And with that inaccuracy on the strategy page, it really seems like it's something to be fixed.

When I first heard someone say, "He actually can't double-tap the Q," I had already played several games with Aurelion—yet I still didn't believe it until I tried. It's pretty counterintuitive if you ask me.

His core weakness is that getting close to him hurts him way more than other immobile mages. I think it's working as intended, but still this is a clarity issue

I noticed this.

anivias q can double tap but not sols, which sucks because without his ult any melee can stay in his ass, basically immune to sols entire kit(again ult dependant)

It's intended because they don't want him to be able to stun people who get close too easily. That being said, I find Aurelion QQers fucking hilarious, because Aurelion isn't even good, let alone OP. Yes, he's decent if he gets fed and the enemy team is full of idiots, but that's irrelevant. He gets murdered by anyone who can just avoid his stars (aka, almost every single champion).

That's funny. They actually came on the boards saying it's working as intended so gap-closers can kill him.

I had this same thought when i started to play him.

Not gonna lie, I read this as Aurelion Solo Q is not working.
