[Gameplay] Healing skills / items nullifying Jinx / Garen Ult (Missing HP Ults?)

Garen bug: <<Not A Bug>>

So it seems that when you heal at the same moment you should be receiving damage from either of these two ults, it causes your character to avoid the damage. It can be seen in both the videos linked above. Using League client 5.11. Possibly only affecting the ultimates where it scales based on missing HP? (As the HP is going through an increase at the exact time, causing a race condition.)

Maw also pops on darius at the exact same time - making me think that the shield probably took most of that damage. Jinx ult just misses, not sure if it has to do with the heal, the fact that the speed increase is right there, or just hitbox wonkiness.

Definitely something to keep an eye out for, but I don't think these two videos are solid enough evidence to say that it's definitely a heal/ult interaction.

the first video is hexdrinker

the second video is the same as those ashe ults that were posted a while back

nothing to do with heal or potions

In the first video: Garen ult is magic damage. Maw took the damage.

In the second video: Maybe it has something to do with the blind? Or it is the heal. Or just hitbox problem

So Garen's ult is magic and can be avoided with an item. Darius' ult is true damage, can't be avoided (I think) and its CD resets if he got the kill... Sure, the game is balanced...

Garen ult does much more damage than Darius ult and his late game is also much better because of his passive. Without the %pv and the blood stack thing they respectively have

Garen: 525+number of pv missing (pretty sure it goes over 640 if the garen knows how to ult when the ennemy is low)

Darius: 340+full stack = 640

If you don't trust me just google Darius and Garen wiki.

So yes, Riot actually knows how to balance.

PS: For the second bug I can't be sure. But I think the movement speed buff has something to do with the bug.

You just forgot to consider that one can build MR against Garen's ult, but a whole team, if low in health, can do nothing against a 5x ult Darius (since it's TD and he gets 100% CD on kill)...

I mean, c'mon, give him a limit of 3 ults, maybe...

Hot damn. I guess I missed that first one, as I never purchase a Maw (my bad - i'll take the video down). Jinx's one is still an issue, though. With the Garen Ult as well, I thought maybe they were related. I guess I really am just Bronze 5.
