I (brunoais) was playing as Tahm kench, I had a game partner playing Master Yi. This happened: A team fight broke in 5v2. Yi was just about dead (almost no HP). In order to help Yi, I activated my W on him and successfully swallowed (Yi's icon appeared on the right of my summoner name). Less than a second after, his picture disappears, the buffs are transfered to their jungler and I'm left alone.

What should have happened Yi should have stayed all that time in my mouth without taking any damage as specified in the instructions.

Rationalle According to the instructions: > Active: Tahm Kench swallows the target enemy minion, monster, or allied champion, making them untargetable and unable to take any actions for a short duration.

And > Untargetable refers to champions in a state where targeted spells cannot be cast on the untargetable champion, and nontargeted will have no effect (only exception being Soraka Soraka's Wish). Additionally, they cannot be targeted by auto attacks.

In other words, Yi should have never died **between **the activation of **devour and **after regurgitate.

In that game, it **happened **around the last 10 minutes of the game.

Reproduction steps: This is quite hard to reproduce because it requires actions way faster than the human can usually process. Regardless of that:

Get, at least, 3 champions. Tahm kench and ChB on team B and ChP on team P.
Get ChB as low as you can get without killing him.
Make ChP prepare an attack. Probably a targeted attack or something with damage over time is better (auto-attack, for example).
While ChP's attack is preparing, Tahm devours ChB.
Verify that ChP was not made untargettable and died anyway inside Tahm.

Extra1: You can get similar effects such where a champion is damaged while being devoured but the damage is only reflected **after **it is regurgitated.

Extra2: This is very hard to record because one never knows when it can happen. Anyway, if anyone asks, I can try adding here something about it when it happens again.

Here's an example of it happening.

killedWhileUntargettable.mp4 If you notice: 00:13:20 -> Kindred is thrown into the air and Yasuo ults her. 00:14:00 -> Tahm Kench Devours Kindred out of Yasuo's ult. The UI clearly shows Kindred is now untargettable. 00:15:90 -> Untargettable kindred is killed inside Tahm Kench.

He could have died from burn damage? like a DoT or red buff? same thing happens to elise when she rappels.

Then both seem wrong from the instructions standpoint... Are you sure about that too, though. I've see Elises using rappel to avoid damage same as Fizz using player to avoid damage already applied to him. If this confusion happens, then we better have a red to answer...

I have witnessed elise die to tower shots and burn while rappelled, I have also seen her die to AAs while activating it. but this is more about after you're already "untargetable"

Fizz only doesn't take damage while he is on his pole, going up or going down he is still taking damage during animation. It very well could just be a glitch that sometimes happens during animations or untargetable abilities... but who knows.

Untargetable doesn't make you invulnerable. You can still take damage from effects already on you when you first become untargetable (DoTs and damage on a delay).

Example: Playful / Trickster:

First Cast: Fizz hops onto his trident towards the target location, becoming untargetable for 0.75 seconds, before splashing onto the ground below him, dealing magic damage to nearby enemies and slowing them for 2 seconds.

Tell me a way to kill Fizz after he has done Playful and either before he has cast Trickster or before 0.75s have passed.

On the first one, they are on both sides. I can't take any conclusions. On the second one, more agree when Fizz's Playful is active, he doesn't receive damage. They also agree that Playful does not remove effects. If the majority of the 2nd link are correct, and the rules of untargettability remain between abilities, then nothing is wrong with Playful and there's something wrong with devour. Ofc, I'm assuming that I understood correctly what I read... which I hope I did.

Okay i'm no expert but...

Looks to me like yasuo has already gone into his ult animation. This suggests that the ability has already targeted Kindred when they are devoured. In order to prevent damage from an ability you have to devour them before the ability targets them.

I believe the damage from yasuo's ult doesn't occur quite at the start of his animation, but sometime during the middle.

So what you are seeing is Yasuo's ult applied to Kindred --> Kindred devoured during ult animation --> Damage application of already applied effect of Yasuo's ult

On what happened, I agree with you. I still see the damage triggering after the untargetability. Once kindred was in the air, Yasuo sliced once, Tahm devioured, then Yasuo sliced twice and then he applied the damage. When he applied the damage the champion was already untargettable. I've seen some replay files of Fizz in and I keep seeing the same thing. While he's on his pole, nothing damages him (currently). DoT's already applied are still attached to him but they do not apply CC nor damage when they trigger. Those include:
