Why can't I see enemy Borders?

It's disabled for enemy teams they can't see yours either. The only way to see both is by spectating.

This has been the functionality of borders since they were implemented. This isn't a bug.

You can't see enemy borders for competitive reasons.

"Competative reasons" being. . . Why you see 3 golds and 2 silvers in your promo match when you have 1 platinum 1 bronze and 3 silvers on your team.(you being silver)

Such balance, much wow.

When it started you could see them all, but since people were crying they didn't have a border last season then riot made it this way.

Then again they gave us icons too so it's pointless.

I wish I could see enemy borders cause it's not like people don't just lolnexus the game anyway. But still I understand how RIot feels about that kind of information.
