[Gameplay] Gnar's Boomerang Throw

Some one needs to take a look at this. I can't get a picture of it because I don't know when it will happen next, and if I were to recorded every video of my playing ... well let's just say I'll have a lot of videos to sift though. But anyway

The problem: There seems to be a bit of random chance when it comes to his Q. I've noticed on occasion I'll be standing still autoing a minion or champion and throw my Q and it comes back while I haven't moved before or after throwing it and it goes right through me and I don't get to catch it. What's up with that? I've noticed it like 3 times already. Another thing that happened in a bot game earlier is I threw Q and it went in a random direction. I believe I was knocked up but that was still a really weird direction. I was in the enemy base, top lane, by their base gate, threw my q towards top turret and probably got knocked up by and my q went flying toward their fountain... I didn't go that direction so it was really inconvenient that my boomerang did.

If someone could take a look at this, that'd be great.
