Edit: this appears to be a DJ Sona bug.
ever since 5.4 i get these black bars on occasion in the kill feed and then i eventually get the dump file error that causes the client to crash and i'm forced to reconnect or log out of windows and relogin to both windows and the client. I have played DJ sona for two games so i'm not sure if this is just specific to DJ Sona or if it's the patch itself. will follow up next game when i play a different champion.
Okay i played a couple of games after experience these bugs and i had no issues in those games because i wasn't playing DJ Sona. So these bugs are caused when playing DJ Sona. the dump file error is triggered when toggling between the 3 DJ Sona themes. I noticed the dump file error happened more often if trying to change to multiple stances in a short period of time. In other words if you try to change 2 or 3 times in within 4-6 seconds the dump file error occurs and you are forced to reconnect or log out of windows to get back into the game.
okay the bug happened again with DJ Sona only this time i never changed themes and i stayed in kinetic before the dump file error happened around the 20 minute mark. it gave the error code 183. This started happening in this patch and only happens when i play DJ Sona. i have played zilean and diana after and had no issues in those games so this is occuring because of DJ Sona.
And sometimes when i have to log out of windows to get into the game, it says that i have corrupt files and need to repair the client. the repair takes a minute or two so it's not that bad but it does get to be a pain especially when in the middle of a game.
just went into a custom game on my own with DJ Sona and had no bugs for 32 mins. So idk what is causing these issues, but i still think it is DJ Sona though.
I don't even play sona and I get the 183 dump file. Other people have this problem too.
