While trying to spectate featured games, the client crashes after 10-15 minutes. I'm not sure if this is related to the fact that LoL Patcher and UserKernal are ALWAYS "Not Responding" or not (this is nothing new for UserKernal, has been going on for many patches). I have had rubber banding earlier today, thought it may have been due to the Yosemite wifi bug, but my wifi connection has been fine during each instance of spectator mode crashing.
HEY! I'm having a similar problem. I don't spectate much but I have been freezing out of games with the only option for re-entry being a hard shutdown of my computer. Think this is due to the Yosemite bugs? Only started after Riot's demanded OSx update
I've had similar issues during games, ever since they had that log in issue a couple days ago. I really don't know the cause. The only way I can quit the game without hard restarting is to run Activity Monitor in a 2nd monitor and force quit. Hot keys don't even work.
