can't left click or right click in-game on OSX 10.10.1

This only happened once, the following game was fine. Prior to this, the loading screen didn't load and I had an issue connecting to the LoL servers, not sure if that's related.

In the game, though, I noticed this instantly when I couldn't left click the shop. Thought it was an issue with the shop, then I tried to move to lane, by moving through the minimap. Couldn't right click either. The ONLY time I could click was after hitting enter to bring up chat, if I recall correctly. After that, it perpetually thought I was mashing right click. I couldn't scroll through the purchase window, had to use hot keys to search through typing, then hit enter, select the item, and hit enter to buy it. It took much trial and error to figure this out.

Thankfully, I guess you could say, I've been experiencing many other issues on the OSX client (lag, rubber banding, vs. screen freezing, drops, gliding, the works) since around Friday so I was only playing against bots. The next game seemed error free, but it does make me wary of playing PvP. I don't want to become a liability due to client issues.
