Teemo's passive makes Twisted Treeline altar ignore him

I was playing a game with Teemo in Twisted Treeline when I decided to unlock the altar. Nobody was around, so I stood on it. The lights start going around... and then after a couple of seconds they start backing up. When I moved again, they started going around. I realized that it was related to Teemo's passive where he stealths after a few seconds and that, to unlock an alter, I had to just randomly click around to keep Teemo from moving.
