Not Gaining IP From Matches

Recently, I was playing a Normal game as Aatrox, and my team won. I was supposedly given over 200 IP, which is pretty nice because I don't pay real money for anything in League of Legends. However, I noticed just now that my IP number on the home menu hasn't change at all; it was like the match didn't happen. Is this a bug, or is there some sort of reason behind this? Note that I was playing as Aatrox because he was in the free weekly champion list, and I don't actually have him.

Sometimes you have to restart the client. You hvae the IP just client bug that's never been fixed.

You are most welcome. I have had this panic moment many a times too. RP is also something that gets out of sync as well.
