Cant Flex queue with gold and plat when im plat.

For some reason it is giving me the error message "You cannot join this lobby. The difference in rank between you and one or more players in it is too high." when they are gold 1 and plat and I am plat in solo/duo queue. In flex i have been placed as platinum and they are still in placements. Please help, want to play with them ASAP!
