Ever since the new update hit, I've not been receiving any hextech chests anymore. I've already had countless matches where either me or another player scored an S- or above, and my profile says I'm eligible for receiving two chests so far.

Uriel1 votes"Since this update hit", the new season started along with this season. And yeah, they are owned champions.
The thing is however, last season neither of these conditions had to be met in order to obtain chests. As long 'any' champion in your team gets an S- or above, you get it. I had one the last week of the last season (around last week of october.), but ever since it just completely stopped. (Remember, I'm not talking about the mastery chests, I'm talking about the chests you get for free once per week.)

ModWulf Helhammer1 votesThe chest reset hasn’t happened yet. Doesn’t until season 8 officially starts.
And requirements for chests haven’t changed since they were added: you have to own the champion, and then either you or someone in your premade has to get an S rank. Only one chest can be earned per champion per season.

Is there a way how you can check which champion is still eligible?
ModWulf Helhammer1 votesIf you go to the champions tab under collection, champs that you've earned a chest on will have a little border around them
Uriel1 votesThat doesn't add up then. Because I've had games with Lux, Heimerdinger and Master Yi where another player had an S- or above, and those don't have the border.
Uriel1 votesUpdate: Recently bought a new champ, so did a friend of mine. Both played a run and he had a S- as Varus. No chest acquired, yet he did.
