@Riot please respond to this bug

I have yet to hear anything from anyone about this massive client breaking bug. Every single time I use the new champion select my game crashes. Says to reconnect. Then it says that I have lost connection. Then I exit the client log in again. Reconnect. Now presto, I've already missed the first 2 waves of minions. This has never happened until the new champion select. I was running no background processes to maximize my performace. I literally can not play at all until the new patch. Is there going to be a hot fix?

I have yet to get a reply about this bug other than "This is in the wrong section re post it, we deleted your post" EDIT: i was 4 minutes late for the game,...
