Problems with spectating

Ever since the login-twice issue (3 weeks ago for me), I've also had the problem with spectating other people/ my friends. I've noticed that the login thing might be fixed (yay), but the spectating issue still isn't.

Spectate friend
Screen goes black
After waiting awhile/ alt-tabbing, "It says unable to connect, a firewall might be blocking..." (something along those lines). Which definitely isn't a problem with my firewall.

I've tried this 10+ times, every time it fails. Other people seem to be having this issue as well. I believe this is an account restricted issue.

Hi I've been having the same problem. My screen goes black and after a few minutes it'll say unable to connect to spectator server?? I don't know why this is happening, but it's been going on since the new patch...I haven't been able to spectate for a while now. Hoping it will get fixed soon...

Yeah :(. I hoping this gets brought to Riot's attention. I understand one week, but it's almost been a month for some people (and even longer for some others). I just... want to stalk my friends ;(.
