I just tested this, but Pantheon's passive can not only block basic attacks, but everything including turrets. Is this intentional? Because that isn't what his passive states..Thanks..I lost a game with Fiora because she couldn't q Pantheon's weak spot during the laning process. And Pantheon could tank my turret and kill under it with ease, and get out safely even at lower levels.
Yes his passive will block a turret shot.
Yes this is intentional. The passive will block any basic attack from a champion, large minion (cannon, super), large monster, or a turret. I'm not sure how it interacts with the lase turrets though.
Also, Pantheon's passive will block any ability that applies on hit effects, as these abilities are treated as basic attacks. This includes abilities like Gangplank's Q, Ezreal's Q, Irelia's Q, and with her new rework, Fiora's Q.
So when did this change occur, and why does his passive's description say basic attacks, that's very misleading. I just found stupid I couldn't do anything to pantheon without ganks..Until I learned I could waste his passive. The ability to block a turret though is a bit ridiculous. That simply isn't needed.
Pantheon's passive has always been able to block turret shots, since his release. Also, I don't know where you have been reading about his passive, because everywhere I look, it says next basic attack OR turret attack. It says that on his champion info on the client, the in-game tooltip, the wiki, and even on Riot's website, so I don't know what else to tell you.
Okay, well if that is intentional. Okay, I just thought basic attacks are auto attacks. I guess it means q, w, and e? is the Ulti included? lol I guess I'll just have to find a way around Pantheon..
