BUG: Having to Double Click to do Abilities
*EDIT: I tried the command+tab thing just now, and it worked for me! At the beginning of your game, command+tab. Click on the** League of Legends icon**, not the LoL Client one! Once you're in, it still won't work unless you command+tab and get back in again. I have to do this at the start of every match, but it will stay good for the remainder of that match. So just command+tab out, click back in, command+tab out, click back in. And you won't have to disconnect to do so :)
Just a couple of days ago, I started having this problem. It happened first in a beginner AI game as LeBlanc. These are the "symptoms" of what happened:
1. Unresponsive options menu. I had to click like a madman to go through the tabs, and scrolling wasn't smooth. 2. Y button and pinging doesn't work, when it usually does. I checked, and nothing was rebinded. The camera is locked, but not on the champion. It's just locked in place. I can't even freely roam the map like usual. The only way to get the camera to focus on my champion was to continually press the space bar or click on the video lock button next to the options button on the lower left side of the map. Can't ping anywhere on the map or on the actual field, too. 3. Having to double click to do any ability. At first I thought that this might be just LeBlanc, because that was my first time playing her, so I didn't know how her abilities worked, but then I went into a custom game as Lux, and the problem was still there. For example, to throw out Lux's E, I had to double click really hard for her to throw the circle. Activating the ability seemed a little slow than usual. Same goes with her other abilities-to Q, I had to double click for her to throw the bind. Just yesterday, in a pvp game, everything was fine. I was so relieved! But a few minutes in, I went in for a kill on Ekko, and suddenly "attempting to reconnect". I could only watch as he killed me instead. I tried to exit and reconnect again, but it didn't work. I had to force shut down my laptop and turn it back on again to return to the match. When I finally reconnected again, the double clicking problem was there again. I didn't want to abandon my teammates, so I just tried to play as best as I could, clicking like crazy.
I'm on a 2014 MacBook Pro 13", Apple Magic Mouse. No battery issues. Also on the latest League patch. The only application I had running in the background was Safari, which I minimized. I've also had some issues getting into the loading screen after champion select, it takes much longer now. It used to take seconds to load in, but now it takes up to almost a minute to even see the loading screen.
I looked up this problem, and there were like two posts that were similar to mine (the others were all on double click self casting, stuff like that). They were all from 2013, and no one had a working solution to those. Riot, or anyone, please help! Playing like this is so hard.
