Large, Overlapping text issue?

I just got a new PC and I'm not sure if it is some settings on the computer itself, or the actual game client. (I've fiddled with just about everything on my pc at this point so I think it's a bug). I am running Windows 8.1 on a Samsung 4K monitor.

So here's what it is:

All text, whether it's damage, magic, exp, gold, etc., is HUGE, to the point where it overlaps on menus and HUD and it is all very hard to read amidst battles.

My computer is a 4K setup because I am a film editor, which can go up to 3800 res, but I have tested every resolution option IN GAME, and the text is massive on all fronts. I am aware that 4K support doesn't really exist (like the minimap scaling issues and such), which is a shame, but I can live with 1080p until it's supported. But even at regular 1080p like I was playing at on my old computer, the text is huge and overlapping.

I've fiddled with my comp specs too and nothing changes it in-game. Please help! Let me know if I am chasing smoke here for a solution or if there is something I can do!
