Elise's Stun Countering Warwick's Ult

Not sure if anyone else experienced this before, but this was the first time for me since I played a Co-op vs AI game earlier where I was Elise. I know stuns can counter suppress, but here's what happened in my game. I was playing Elise and the moment Warwick Bot used his ult on me, I used my stun (E). As a result of the timing, Warwick's ultimate animation continued in the location he used his ult on me. However, I was able to move freely. I don't think this is intended, but I just want to make sure.
