The hp and mana regen portion of the Jungler passive does not work on Rift Scuttler

If you buy Hunter's Machete or any of its upgrade and attack the scuttler crab, the magic damage on hit will apply but you will not gain hp or mana regen like when you attack other jungle monster

You aren't "in combat" when killing the Rift Scuttler, because it doesn't attack you.

The Rift Scuttler doesn't have aggro, which is why you can't use attack-move to kill it.

Believe this behavior is intended.

Not sure why you are replying a post made 1 year ago.

You are considered "in combat" when you attack an enemy champion even if he doesn't fight back.
