When you successfully grab Ezreal with Rocket Grab he then jumps away from your fist halfway to you. You can repeat this by successfully grabbing Ezreal and watching him jump away with your fist still attached if he presses E.

Zallamance1 votesThis is design. You can do something similar as Tristana with Rocket Jump when hit with cc. It's difficult to master, and I'm not entirely sure what sort of logic pathing the game goes through when calculating this, something to do with how certian actions/animations will go through no matter what, even when cc'd (the amount of times I've landed a thresh hook because I pressed q just before getting knocked around are too many to count
Gold Grenade1 votesI legitimately want a developer to comment since other champions can't activate their abilities after being grabbed until the pull completes. Even Nautilus has to either activate his Q just before, or just after the pull.
Zallamance1 votesI doubt your going to get a comment from a Riot employee, as this thread has become too old, but with the Ezreal Phase shift dodging after the Blitz hook, I'm 99% positive it isn't a bug, as it has been in the game for many years without being changed. There is tons of videos on people doing it, and it's even been done during professional games. If it was a bug, it would have been stopped by now
