Poppy W not working against Renectons dashes

I was playing poppy VS a renecton in the top lane and was doing well until just when i had him in my W to block his dashes, he dashed out without getting interrupted. i thought it was weird. maybe i just lagged. but then he started dashing through my w. has anyone else seen this?

It only stops one dash per champion. So if you interrupted his first dash you can't interrupt his second. Is the same as riven. And since the hit box is so big if there was a minion close to him even if you interrupt him he still get the cd refreshed

i'll have to watch the video and see if that is what i was missing
