Experiencing Eternal Silence

One thing to let you guys know- my English might not be perfect. Thanks. So, just finished this 45 minute ARAM game, was playing as Katarina.

At one moment of the game, I don't really understands what happen, but I just couldn't cast my Q and R anymore. I spammed my Q button to minions and nothing came out, cooldown indicator doesn't show up, not even any sound effects or anything. When I tried to use R, I also found out that I couldn't cast it anymore. (No, none of the spells are on cooldown, I stare at those buttons and nothing) Another weird thing, there's no "clitch" sound showing that you're silenced or disabled, its just nothing.

One of my friends also experienced these more than me.

  • He was playing Vi at normal SR and at one point he couldn't cast/channel Vi's Q. No "clitch" sound.
  • He plays Jinx on ranked SR and experienced eternal silence, he couldn't cast any spell. This time there's the "clitch" sound and shows the button of the ability icons are grey, so its telling him that he's silenced or disabled.

=All of above is not during the fight, so definitely not silenced/disabled=

The solution to this is to actually quit the game and reconnect. But what if there's someone out there having a slow loading screen? The game wouldn't wait for them. I'm just sharing this to you guys and Riot- (hopefuly Riot will fix this)

"clitch" -- I don't really how to explain this word. It's just an onomatopoeia I created.

I think I have encountered this before, but with the flash summoner spell, It was bugged out and I couldn't use it but I think it was fixed by Riot as it was just a bug. We need to bump this up :D

I think it's fine at the moment, I haven't been having any problems. :/ If the problem still persists, you could bump up this post, in hopes that Riot will see it :D Although there is a Vi bug that I found, where her taunt/joke (I can't remember which) doesn't play with the officer Vi skin. I submitted it in a forum and was notices by a rioter and is now in the process of being fixed :)
