Trying to reconnect to a game that was successfully remade due to leaver.

So basically we started the match our Shaco had to leave so apologized and asked us to /remake, and proceeded to leave. No big deal i thought well just remake the game and get on with our lives. /remake at 3 minutes, it goes through and my friend and are are trying to invite each other into another game, no luck, try to find match alone, no luck either. Finally we decide to exit league and restart client only for BOTH of us to get the reconnect screen for the game that was just remade. Is this a bug with the remake system or with the servers themselves or..?? I think remake is super pointless af if its going to make me wait the duration of what a game would have been rather than let me get on to my next game. Had i known id have just played the 4v5 rather than do nothing and wait likely longer for the issue to clear itself that it would have taken for us to lose or ff naturally.
