Dark Star Thresh Bug

Hey Riot, just wanted to make this post to inform you of a bug I have encountered with Dark Star Thresh. The skin looks REALLLY cool and I love it even though Im not a thresh player myself but anyways, everytime enemy thresh pops up on the minimap or you see him at all while laning the game freezes for a split second. My friend was also experiencing this same issue and we know it isn't our computers because we never had a problem up until we encountered Dark Star Thresh. Just wanted to inform you and hopefully this can be sorted out soon.

i purchased the skin shortly before it was disabled, can we have some kind of idea of how long it will take to fix?

Gahh, sorry about that! The issue was caught a bit later than we would have liked, even on live. :c I unfortunately do not have an ETA, but from what I understand we do have a fix that we're verifying, so it shouldn't be too much longer.

I'm not able to give you an official ETA, as I do not have one at this moment. We ran into a big of a snag, and are working on that as we speak.

well we can all see that it is disabled for four days.. Are you sure your guys made thresh skin? It seems possible that by some accident they might have created awesome looking AWP skin for CSGO

Hey! Will there be some sort of compensation? I mean, I bought the skin after a few hours it got released, played with it for a few matches and now it's turned off for days. :| feels kinda bad... It would be a nice gesture from the developers to give you an icon at least... (or 250RP, since I bought it too, lol)

I too bought the skin the minute it got released and I am quite annoyed i cant use it..... considering how long it has been taken down and also the cost of it... some sort of compensation should be issued.

What about compensation for other players? Before it was disabled, I had a Dark Star Thresh in my ranked game. It made League crash for him, and then bot lane had a 2v1, and gave up multiple kills, which made the top laner flame and afk too, and it was just a disaster. By the time Thresh had reconnected, it was too late. Though the top laner flaming and afking wasn't your fault, will there still be some compensation for something like this, or is it to hard to define whether a ranked game was lost because of this?

This isn't something we're able to track, similarly to when we have ranked queue issues and Loss Prevention hasn't been turned on. (Sorry, I know it sucks, just wanted to be clear and give you an answer one way or the other.) ;_;

Huh, sorry KateyKhaos, it's very hard to believe you wouldn't be able to filter your customers based on past purchases. (DS Thresh in this case)

In a game against the new thresh & varus skin (both of them were played) me and 3 other people had the exact same "split second freezes". Furthermore I just saw another post that claimed the same bug. So I guess that is an issue.

Now i feel kinda bad cause i play thresh and i had this skin on, and when i popped out of a bush, the enemy would stop and i could just walk up and flay and they would claim "Lag"
