Is Ahri's Charm (E) Bugged or am I just crazy?

An ability that her charm has is that its supposed to stop in progress enemy abilities but so far in my games anyway it hasn't o.o Mordekaiser's Q, Malphites Ult, Fizz's Q, Thresh's Q, and Blitzcranks Q. All these abilities were still going throw in their progress animations when I charmed them and their abilites would still connect and I would die in the process. Does this only work with certain abilities or is it supposed to work with all of them? I don't know if its bugged or if Im missing something here.

Does not stop anything except dashes and channeled abilities but not all of those either.

It's a thing in the game called "CC buffering," where if you get hit with CC during the cast time of an ability, or during a fixed-distance dash, you can eat up some of the CC. It takes pretty precise timing to abuse it which could be seen as a form of skill expression, that's probably why it hasn't been changed in all these years.
