Black screen of death

Started up an aram queue match popped up clicked accept makes champion select noise enters black screen of death had to exit lol client Now I have a 15 min queue dodge time (first time dodging queue in months), and this issue needs to be fixed. I've seen plenty people complain about it, so I'd like to know if Riot is doing anything to fix this.
